The first 'type-facsimile' edition of the Folio. 9 preliminary leaves, 303, (1), 100 (i.e. 98), (2), 69-232, (1), (78)-80, (25), (1), 98, (2), 109-156, 257- 993 (i.e. 399) pp. (the reprint's signature are also numbered in twos after the preliminary leaves: 1-222 (2), 223(1)). Watermark states "Shakespeare" and the name of the papermaker "J. Whatman, 1806" on leaves. Contemporary calf, corners rubbed and chipped. 1807年頃に出版された、シェイクスピア「戯曲全集」のファースト・フォリオ（1623年）の翻刻版です。タイトルページと最終ページに、印刷者Wrightの名前が入っています。 オリジナルのファースト・フォリオの形式をそのままに活字を並べ、印刷した翻刻版の最初ものです（写真を用いた翻刻版として最初のものは1866年に出版）。シェイクスピアの肖像が入ったタイトルページも再現されており、このタイトルページをはじめとして、ファースト・フォリオの欠損部分に本版が代替として使われることもしばしばありました。
