Virtual Book Fair

The ABAJ (Antiquarian Booksellers Association of Japan) is pleased to announce the first "ABAJ Virtual Book Fair”. Every other year, the ABAJ holds the "Tokyo International Antiquarian Book Fair" at a venue in Tokyo. In October 2025, we will hold our inaugural “ABAJ Virtual Book Fair” where you can see and purchase many rare and collectible books etc. without having to leave your shop, office, or home!

For one week, you will be able to view numerous rare Japanese and Western antiquarian books, historical materials, ukiyoe prints, other prints, old maps, and other items selected by each bookstore that you would normally be unable to see. We hope you will take this opportunity to enjoy the dazzling world of these rare items.

The “ABAJ Virtual Book Fair” opens at 8:00pm Japan time on Friday, 3rd October and ends at 8:00pm (Japan time) on Friday, 10th October 2025.
